I apologize to everyone for the delay in writing it's been a pretty busy summer as I'm sure most people's have been.
So to get right into it I want to address the problems we as Americans in the twenty first century face. With the ever growing media and tech coming into the the hands of average citizens it is now so easy to communicate, keep in touch with long distance family members, and many other wonderful things. There have also been many disadvantages to this much power in one persons hands.
I would like to focus on one issue thoroughly through media and namely Facebook you see so many people that you've heard about or you know personally. But most of the people on that "friends" list are more acquaintances than actual true friends. Nobody feel bad because I have this too, but the important thing is for us all to never look at s person as anything less than a fellow human being. We often form opinions of people In Our head before we even truly know them.
For a quick example, rode rage. Everyone driving age is guilty of it to some degree. We throw insults and ungodly names or gestures at the person behind the wheel, when we don't even know this person. You could have just made their sour day even worse with a fit about something maybe so simple. Maybe this has happened to you, it has to me me, and it makes me think these people who act this way feel more powerful because they are secluded in in a car and not face to face with the actual person.
Our society commonly forgets to look at people as individuals and truly, truly care about that person and not look at them as a work of art made by God. Many people lik me would say wait what if that person is actually evil like hitler? This is tough but I've prayed for God to give me his view on people and he showed me how to see through the evil, despicable actions people are capable of. Even Hitler was once a baby and a beloved creation of God. I look at some celebrities or even people around me and think the same thing, God is grieving and pulling at all them to come to his loving arms. It makes me incredibly sad but allows me to be a more sensitive, caring person by approaching life this way.
So, to end my blog today I'd like to challenge you, the reader, to think of a person in your life who you either think of as your enemy or a person who has hurt you, put you down, or done something you would think of as unforgivable and look at that person through a different lense, through Gods eyes and PRAY for them.
Thanks for reading and Goodnight! 🤓
